Prom and Other Things

Hello, Lovelies

1. I apologize for the lack of  real, writing-filled posts. I miss them and I thought the April Feature would help me get back into doing them again, but they were a chore to post instead. That is part of the reason I quit posting them before the end of the month. They just weren't fun.

2. As I type this, my grandma is headed back to the emergency room. Two weeks ago she headed in to find out she had a heart condition. Her medication was adjusted and she came home about five days later. Then it was my grandpa's turn for the hospital. The day my grandma came home, my grandpa went in with nervous system problems. They doctors found out that he was having mini-strokes. He came home a week later without the doctors fully understanding what was going on.
Today my grandma heads in to emergency because she is having severe side affects to her medication. Also, she's a worrier, and that isn't helping her case.
P.S. Just found out she has fluid around her lungs, so she is having trouble breathing.

3. My family had planned a birthday party for my grandmother and cousin for tonight. The family was going to get together and have a bonfire to celebrate another year of their lives, but because my grandma went to the hospital it looks as if it's going to be canceled.
Personally, I didn't really want to go anyways because I have been sick for the past few days with a horridly bad cold. Does that make me a bad person?

4. Although there is only 5 more weeks of school for this girl, things haven't been winding down. Quite the contrary. There was prom (more about that in a moment), state festival for band, and papers and tests all scheduled for the same week. In some cases, the same day. Yet to come it graduation practice, graduation, the band trip, color guard practices, color guard tryouts, and finals. Yikes! Wish me luck; I'm going to need it in order to get through these last few weeks.

5. Prom. Prom for my high school was last Saturday. I got ready at my friend Morgan's house (we did each others hair), and we headed off to take pictures with the rest of the group. Morgan and I ate at Panera Bread and sat with the others for a bit at Olive Garden. Prom itself was crowded, hot, sweaty, but it was still a pretty good time. There was dancing, masks (masquerade), and endless flirting. End. Less.
Anyways, here are some of the pictures from that night with my ever-so-lovely commentary.

Morgan who is oh-so gorgeous.

Morgan and I (with my funny feet).

A classic. We do this pose for every dance, but it seems as
if Morgan couldn't contain her smile.

A favorite.

More of us.

Nikki with her date, Connor. He still needs a hair cut.

Tristan, who went with Cierra as friends.

I love, love, love this photo. Tristan took it with my camera, and it turned
 out great.

Prom shoes: mine (really Morgan's), Cierra's, Morgan's, and Nikki's.

The location.
6. I have some writing posts planned. Some of the writing will be English assignments or journal writing from class, while others will be more personal writing that I did on my own. So, be sure to look out for those; I'm pretty excited/nervous for posting them soon.

7. I think that's it for this update post! I will be posting more than I have been, along with my Project 365 picture posts. Have a good night, Lovelies.
