A Very Enthusiastic Update!

Hello, Lovelies!

It's time for a very special update piece for you awesome people! Please, notice the enthusiasm. Two exclamation points for the very beginning of this post says a lot. LOADS, even. There is a lot I want to share (super duper long post! I'm not even sorry!), so I shall use a numbered list to keep things a bit more organized.

1. My lovely, best friend Cierra has been in Arizona visiting her family and friends for the past little while of summer (think, like, the past three and a half weeks). Very early this morning, as in 2 am, we were chatting via Twitter. It was so good talking to her. We caught up on dresses and boys (my boyfriend and her boy buddy status), how excited we are to hang out and how much we've missed talking and seeing each other everyday.
Also, I have decided to throw her a "Welcome Back" party when she returns which is three weeks (to all my friends who read this, be ready for party planning mode!) It will be so good to see her again. She truly is my best friend.

2. As mention briefly above, I have a boyfriend! His name is Tristan, and he is my first real boyfriend. We have been officially dating for the past two and a half weeks.
A little back story for you: Tristan and I went to Homecoming at our school together our freshman year (yup, in the same grade, both seniors this year!) thanks to above-mentioned Cierra. She asked him to go with me. I didn't know until later, but I'm really glad she did now. Things have gone full circle and we started talking, then hanging out this past spring. Skip ahead a little bit, and here we are!
I'm not saying it will last forever, but I will thoroughly enjoy our little infinity. Hope you all got the TFiOS reference! : )

3. This past Wednesday, I went to church with my friends Morgan and Lilia. Lilia and I joined Mo and her family at their church, Resonate Church. It was the first time I attended church in so long, and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully, I will keep going with Morgan on Wednesday nights and go to Huggard Church with my grandparents on Sundays.
I stopped going to church in eighth grade as I was going through some really tough times. My mom, sister, brother, and I had to move, and was too far away for easy travel with sports and all. Also, I wasn't exactly comfortable there. I'm not really sure what it was because the people are lovely. I just wasn't feeling the best about life and all. Nonetheless, I am feeling better now and will be attending church more regularly.
By the way, Morgan's church is great. It is so nice, the people are wonderful and so kind, and the food is delicious! Karaoke during the drive to and from wasn't too bad, either.

4. I am so excited for this new, shiny part of life we are venturing to and through! Senior year is approaching (I am already feeling as if it's started because of marching band season/color guard). We are dating. High school is almost over, and, although we still have one more year together, we will all be going off to college so soon (I sent my first application in the mail two days ago)! We are all splitting up and conquering the world. It's definitely bitter sweet for me and no doubt for my friends! I am going to miss everyone! But at the same time I am going to be doing my thing, meeting new people, and living my life. Excited but sad is the official emotion. I have decided.

5. And lastly, as a little bit of an afterthought, I have so, so, much to post, and I am so, so far behind. I just want to say sorry! At the same time, I have been busy having a life so... I will try to post more on both this blog and my second blog and finally catch up. It will take a lot of effort. I promise to try my best, but you should also be ready to read and flick through photos. There's a lot. Just saying!

I hope this post wasn't to gushing with emotions. I am just bursting with happiness and excitement and craziness! That's just who I am. Have a lovely day, Lovelies!
