1. My school has had yet another snow day today. This makes the count fourteen days off due to the weather. A bit extreme in my opinion. Nonetheless, if it is necessary to cancel because of the weather, you cancel. Better safe than sorry in this situation, right? Looking at the weather, another snow day is possible tomorrow.
2. Although I am completely over the cold weather (where are you warm, sunny May?), I am glad for the day off. Since last night, I have felt ill, and I would have most likely missed school if in session today. I much like everyone missing a day than just myself and having a bunch of makeup work. Also, there was the chance that I would of had to go to school today even though I have felt sick. That would have sucked. I am more than grateful for a relaxing day in bed. Hopefully I will feel better soon and not have the flu that has been going around.
3. Band festival is tomorrow. Due to the snow day, we have missed yet another very much needed practice. This is no good of course; there is nothing good about it. We honestly needed all the practice we could get because of all the days cancelled. If school is cancelled tomorrow, I'm pretty sure festival will be also. Maybe. Probably. We'll see.
