Posting on my blog, or any blog for that matter, is quite a bit of work. That is not to mention posting almost everyday. Thinking of ideas without losing creativity is a task all it's own. Sometimes you have to take a break.
My blog writing process really just starts with a good or even poor idea. I rarely do random rambling sessions on my blog because I believe that it is important to post something you would want to read and something you can be proud of. You as in me. My ideas come from multiple places, all different. I may get an idea for a post from a song I just heard playing on my Spotify, or maybe from my sister and boyfriend saying "I love you" to each other. Click here to see that post. I get my ideas from a wide range of moments that occur during my life.
Of course, the idea is just the start. Really writing is the difficult part. But, before I actually start writing (typing) up a post, I have to decide when I want to publish it. Today, tomorrow, next week, next month? It's a matter of fitting it in and having time to type it, edit it, and so on. Plus, if something spectacular, crazy, terrible happens, I want to be able to have an available day for that to be published. Without being a week later than when it happens, that is. It is quite the process.
When it comes down to the actual writing/typing part of the process, there are two ways it can go. Really good, or really bad. Most of the time writing a post comes as natural as anything else. Singing, spinning, anything. Other times, I struggle and just can't get the words out in a way that makes sense. If it is the latter, the post may go to my drafts to die. Otherwise, I push through and pick up the pieces no matter how scattered.
Photographs, events happening in my everyday life, and pre-writing posts are factored into this whole, crazy equation. Sometimes life gets in the way. It happens every now and again. Sometimes daily post are unrealistic standards for my blog. Both blogs actually. The fact that I have two blogs to post on is a little mind boggling when applying this process to every post!
Now you know a bit more about how much time and effort it takes to have a blog. If you are thinking of starting your own blog, I say go for it. Just know that it is a bit time and energy consuming! I give you good luck!
Lovelies, I hope you have/had an awesome Monday. I found that mine was not too terrible. For a Monday.
